Dear Partners of the Salem Health and Wellness Foundation,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ann O’Brien as Interim Executive Director of the Salem Health and Wellness Foundation.

Ann brings more than 30 years of leadership experience serving nonprofit organizations. She has held senior executive roles with organizations including United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, and has advised nonprofit leaders on governance, strategy, and organizational development through her consulting practice.

In recent years, Ann has served as Interim Executive Director for numerous nonprofits helping organizations navigate leadership transitions with stability, thoughtful decision-making, and a focus on long-term success. In each engagement, she partners with boards and staff to strengthen operations, support effective governance, and prepare organizations and their next leaders for continued success.

Ann is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified executive coach. She holds an MBA from La Salle University and an MSS/MLSP from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.

During this interim period, Ann will work closely with the Board, staff, partners, and the community to ensure continuity of leadership and advance the Foundation’s mission.
