Salem Health and Wellness Foundation Staffing Updates

After 15-years, Judith Foley, Grants Administrator, has announced her retirement. Judy has worked closely with Salem Health and Wellness Foundation grantees to administer funding, develop new funding opportunities at the foundation, and continue community engagement throughout her role. Judy has been a staple to the Foundation throughout her tenure, always welcoming people with a smile.

The Salem Health and Wellness Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of two new employees: Emily Hernandez, Grants Administrator and Karissa Pagan, Office Administrator.

Emily Hernandez comes to the Foundation after working several years in the nonprofit sector, particularly with organizations that support youth development and wellbeing. Most recently, she served as the Manager, Corporate and Foundation relations with Eluna. Emily helped engage current stakeholders and expand relationships with new corporate and foundation donors to help develop programming. She has her MA in Publishing from Rosemont College and BA in Literature from Stockton University.

Karissa Pagan is a Salem County native and has worked in various office administrative and accounting roles throughout her career. She has worked for organizations such as Lassonde Pappas, Exelon, Valley Park Elementary School, Salem Medical Center, Salem Community College, and others. She holds an associate degree in education.
