5/6/25- The Salem Health and Wellness Foundation announced its 2025 Matching Gift Program awards this past week. Since 2010, the Foundation has awarded matching gift grants to a wide range of local nonprofits that address health and wellness challenges in Salem County. This year the Foundation received the most applicants ever for the Matching Grant Awards. All of this year’s grantees are addressing the Social Drivers of Health and providing opportunities for Salem residents to improve their health, safety and well-being.
This competitive funding program allows organizations to expand their donor base and access other resources for general operating expenses. Each organization will receive up to $20,000 in matching funds for general operating expenses and special projects.
The Foundation will provide matching funds to the following grantees:
- Appel Farm provides arts and music education programming at their Elmer campus.
